Nike Dunk High Premium "Embossed 8" ($105) / Converse Chuck Taylor Hi Netted Together 1HUND(RED) ($64)

We've selected two highs for the fellas this month, a Dunk High Premium and Chuck Taylor. The Dunk celebrates the upcoming Beijing Olympic games with it's embossed 8 pattern on the side panel.

The Chuck Taylor is a part of Converse's 1HUND(RED) collection and was designed by Ginger Jones. It's in white canvas with a mesh overlap. The neon green liner provides a nice contrast to the stark exterior.

   
Jordan History Made Tee ($36) / Cassidy L/S Shirt ($86)

The Jordan History Made t-shirt features familiar Jordan imagery (i.e. Wings Poster, Jordan holding the NBA championship trophy, etc) revealed through the type.

Twelve Bar's Cassidy long-sleeve is a nice way to transition into the upcoming cooler weather. Done in a gingham check pattern, it features snap-button closures and western style chest pockets.

UPSO's Chuck Taylor is our latest offering in the Converse x 1HUND(RED) line. Jack of all trades, UPSO, a.k.a. Dustin Amery Hostetler, is a artist, designer and illustrator based out of Toledo, Ohio, whose done work ranging from custom Kid Robot Munny's, to Threadless t-shirts, to illustrations for magazines such as Flaunt, WIRED and XLR8R.

The cyan liner and outsole is what does it for us...

3/15 11am Release: Converse 1HUND(RED) Chuck Taylor by Dr. Romanelli

    
Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Hi x Dr Romanelli 1HUND(RED) ($100)

This Saturday, March 15 at 11am, we will be releasing Dr. Romanelli's (aka DRx) Converse Chuck Taylor Hi, produced for the (RED) campaign as well as to celebrate Converse's 100th Anniversary. As a member of the (red) campaign, Converse contributes 10% of the net wholesale price of these shoes to The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria and specifically fund HIV/AIDS programs in Africa that focus on the health of women and children.

With that in mind, Dr. Romanelli designed his Chuck with a band-aid theme in a manner similar to what he's become know for, taking vintage fabrics and stitching them together to create new custom pieces. However, the band-aids on the shoe are actually laser-etched, making for a beautifully detailed and intricate design. “The 1HUND(RED) Artists project really motivated me to create something unique and I choose the band-aids as a fix for positive change.”

This shoe is only being released in select boutiques, and we're proud to be one of them.
